Mark Your Calendar for the Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill Annual Tour on May 19th
Just because you live in the city doesn’t mean you should sacrifice your time in nature. Many urban dwellers prioritize Mother Earth by cultivating beautiful gardens right here in the heart of the city. If you want to see how they do it (and maybe get some ideas for your own indoor garden), grab a ticket to the Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill Annual Tour on May 19th.
The Beacon Hill Garden Club exists to encourage individuals and organizations committed to conservation within the neighborhood, and that sometimes includes funding. Your ticket purchase will contribute to their mission as it unlocks the doors to nine beautiful local gardens—four of them have never been open to the public before! Register online ($30+) and then grab the map for your self-guided tour on May 19th. You’re welcome to explore anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., at which time the gardens will close to the public until next year. If you want to get a headstart on the fun, attend the Fifth Annual Soiree on Wednesday, May 18th. It includes cocktails, small bites, and an exclusive tour of three additional gardens.
