Fall fun has begun! With Fall Festivals and Halloween being celebrated all month long, you won’t want to miss these October Boston events happening close by. Get your fall gear on or costume ready and dive into the festivities.
Harvard Square Oktoberfest and HONK! Parade
Running 41 years and counting, this event happening October 13th is a local must. Festivities feature a HONK! parade with a long list of HONK! bands from all over, six beer gardens to get your Oktoberfest on, and food and art vendors everywhere. Don’t miss out on all of the fun when you’re roughly a 20-minute bike ride away at The Harvey.
Halloween Happening
Frighting fun is coming to the Museum of Science for one-night only on October 17th. Walter Sickert & The Army of Broken Toys are taking over the Charles Hayden Planetarium for a night of music and space travel. Don’t forget your costume for a chance to win the best dressed. Bike here from The Harvey in roughly 15 minutes.
Harvest Party
Treat yourself to a night of wining and dining, music, dancing, and festivities at the Boston Public Market on October 24th. You can purchase tickets here. The proceeds from this event support their Community Engagement fund. Get your dancing shoes on and come hungry to this event just a 10-minute drive from The Harvey.
Fall Pumpkin Festival
Bring your own jack-o-lantern to float in the Boston Common Frog Pond on October 27th for a lit display of floating pumpkin art. This free event also includes a parade, family-friendly shows, refreshments and giveaways. Costumes are encouraged. This event is just a 15-minute drive from The Harvey.
