Enjoy a Self-Guided Winter Walking Tour of Boston
When was the last time you approached Boston with the eyes of a tourist? During a time when getting out of the house safely can pose a challenge, Boston Discovery Guide’s free Self-Guided Winter Walking Tour is giving you the opportunity to do just that! And since the entire tour takes place in the fresh air, it’s easy to stay safe in the process—as long as you mask up and practice social-distancing.
The self-guided tour is best enjoyed on a snowy day in Boston. It starts at the Public Garden and winds around the area on a 2.5-mile jaunt, leading you through the Back Bay, along the Charles River and the Esplanade, and through Boston Common. However, the tour route never strays too far from the Public Garden, so feel free to cut your tour short at any time. You may not want to, however, as you enjoy sights of the icy Charles River and al fresco dining at the Earl of Sandwich.
